What to Watch for Friday

Should be a heck of a day for basketball junkies, here are four games we are particularly looking forward:

Alabama (18-14) vs. 16. Auburn (25-6), 1:00PM, ESPN: ICYMI (see video below) Freshman phenom Collin Sexton went the length of the court, hitting a layup as the clock expired to give the Tide a 71-70 victory over Texas A&M. Sexton finished with 28 pts and kept Bama’s tourney hopes alive. This rubber match between rivals should be a good one. Keep an eye on Sexton vs Auburn PG Bryce Brown.

Rockets (51-13) vs. Raptors (47-17), 7:30PM, NBA League Pass: The two conference leaders clash. The Rockets have the NBA’s best road record, while the Raptors hold the best home record.

12 UNC (24-9) vs. 5 Duke (26-6), 9:00 PM, ESPN: Obviously any match up between these two blue bloods is can’t miss viewing, but a rubber match in the ACC tourney? Forget about it.

18 WVU (23-9) vs. 14. Texas Tech (24-8), 9:00 PM, ESPN: Arguably the two most polished PGs in college basketball, WVU’s Jevon Carter and TTU’s Keenan Evans, both seniors, will face off in the Big 12 semis in yet another rubber match. After scoring 20pts in a 71-70 victory over WVU in January, Evans sat out a 74-84 L @ WVU on 2/26.
